The design works have integrated the regional elements and characteristics of Dalian from form to connotation. The theme of this exhibition is jointly presented by three brand themes: the theme "LIGHT" Inspired by the inclusive culture and retro artistic conception of Dalian integrating the ocean, it emphasizes that design leads quality life, creates nature, imagines the aesthetic feelings of quiet, light and natural city in daily life, and uses the earth color system, irregular tailoring and various materials to talk about the new clothes and senses of current urban people, review the structure and return to nature and comfort; The theme "121 ° 38E" is inspired by the geographical marks of Dalian on the earth. The clothing uses the graceful coastline structure to show the characteristics of Dalian's youth, vitality and rich cultural heritage, and convey the spirit of independence, enthusiasm and romance; The theme "Location" is inspired by the unique geographical location and urban architectural characteristics of Dalian. It uses the combination of color collision and space deconstruction to express the fashionable self-confidence of modern women. In this exhibition, the Dalian fashion designer team used a simple pen to outline the beauty of clothing, and balanced the dialectical relationship between tradition and modernity with modern life concepts and cultural elements.
This work was released by the Dalian Fashion Designers Association and the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Fashion Design and Engineering of Dalian University of Technology, inviting the world famous fashion design master, Mr. Hamasawa Chunyi, to serve as the study instructor. The training lasted 100 class hours in two stages, including designers from Dalian universities, independent designers and some designers from Liaoning garment enterprises. Mr. Hakashi Junyi once served as the chief designer and design director of GUCCI and other world famous brands in France, Italy and New York. It is the first time to come to China for clothing training and practical education. Based on his work experience in the world's top luxury brands, in accordance with the operation mode of international brands, and with the image of Dalian as the concept theme, he guided excellent designers in colleges and enterprises to gradually explore their own potential, unleash imagination and creativity, create fashionable clothes representing the image of Dalian, and help designers to steadily go out of Dalian and go global, Show Dalian's clothing charm on a larger and broader clothing stage.

The National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Fashion Design and Engineering was established in 2013 with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and was built and managed by the College of Fashion of Dalian University of Technology.
