The "opinion" pointed out that we should increase the level of opening up trade in goods, expand market access for trade in goods, expand opening to the outside world of services, promote orderly opening of financial services and other fields, open up foreign investment access restrictions in areas such as child care, pension and other fields, relax investment access, push forward the pilot projects of convertibility of capital accounts, promote rules negotiations, and speed up negotiations on new issues such as intellectual property protection, environmental protection and e-commerce.

The Chinese government has made significant progress in the negotiations with the neighbouring countries and regions. The Sino Korean FTA was recently voted by the Korean parliament. The outcome document of the "China ASEAN Free Trade Area upgrading negotiations" was signed last month.
