Outdoor Brand Alliance Releases New Standards For Down Industry

Recently, China's outdoor brand alliance (COA) has issued the first feather related industry standard for the first time.

Outdoor feather containing products, which conform to the designated high quality down standard, adopt the certification of feather down purchase channel, and the products designated by the down detection agency, will be hung with the "COA tag" to provide consumers with COA certified outdoor sports high quality down products.

It is understood that the specific feather COA industry standard mainly includes two categories: first, the amount of cashmere is over 90%, the fluffy degree of duck is more than 700, and the fluffy degree of goose down is more than 800.

The two is through professional water treatment, in the wet environment can still maintain high quality products fluffy.

In addition, COA is screening down down suppliers and conducting research on the third party testing institutions. The list of certified suppliers and the three party organizations will be announced later.

At present, the members of China outdoor brand alliance include more than ten domestic and foreign brands that actively support outdoor industry development: HALTI (KAILAS), Mu Gaodi (MOBI GARDEN),

NORTHLAND), SCALER, TOREAD, Ward (VAUDE), etc.

It is reported that the outdoor clothing products and other outdoor products industry standards will also be released.
