Investment From Taiwan

Recently, 3 Taiwan footwear enterprises (Genfort Shoes, Xin Chang Shoes, Super Protective) signed a contract with Meng Fang and moved their factories in the mainland to Bangladesh, with a total investment of US $118 million.

According to Meng media, the reason for its relocation is wage increases in China, appreciation of the renminbi and up to 16% anti-dumping duty in Europe. Bangladesh has a weak currency, low wages, and abundant skilled workers, especially women workers. Their hands are the most ingenious in the world and are often suitable for making shoes.

The Mencius department receives almost every investor from Taiwan and Mainland China every week.

Meng media believes that Meng will replace Dongguan, China as the next world footwear industry center.
