The shoe industry has become a pillar industry in the local economy. There are more than 2000 small and medium shoe enterprises in the county, with nearly 200 thousand employees, with nearly 500 million pairs of shoes and an annual output value of about 20 billion yuan.

To support the effectiveness of small and medium enterprises, the Huizhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau has made efforts to help enterprises develop steadily and expand their exports as one of the focuses of their work.

Through careful investigation and research, the Council decided to focus on more than 1000 small and medium shoe enterprises in Huidong County as a breakthrough point.

Since January this year, the relevant leaders of the bureau have visited many nearly 100 representative enterprises.

A total of 10 research teams have been deployed from various departments, and one by one has visited 1143 export shoe enterprises. Among them, there are 770 enterprises in 20~50 scale, 257 enterprises in 50~100, and 116 enterprises in 100 or more enterprises.

After investigation and analysis, the Huizhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau found that the main difficulties faced by SMEs in Huidong were: first, the serious lack of self inspection ability of enterprises.

Of the 1143 shoe companies surveyed by the Bureau, only more than 10 have simple physical testing equipment, more than 670 enterprises have no product inspectors, and small and medium enterprises are generally limited in their own strength, and the quality of products is not guaranteed.

They look forward to the inspection and quarantine departments to set up footwear product testing laboratories to facilitate inspection by shoe manufacturers.

Full service to tide over difficulties

In view of the urgent problems and difficulties faced by small and medium-sized shoe enterprises in Huidong, the Huizhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau has held two special sessions of the party's group meeting, three Bureau meetings and several field meetings, and has taken effective measures to help the small and medium sized shoe enterprises to solve practical difficulties and tide over difficulties.

In view of the fact that the testing ability of enterprises is generally insufficient and the practical problems of product delivery detection, the bureau raised about 6000000 yuan in its own funds, and purchased more than 60 advanced equipment and more than 60 units in the yellow port footwear specialized laboratory with a high standard construction area of more than 500 square meters in Huang Po Town, the most centralized shoe manufacturer. It opened 34 physical testing items and 9 chemical testing items, meeting the needs of rapid testing of enterprises, and effectively coping with foreign technical trade measures.

In the past, shoe products can only be sent to laboratory tests in Guangzhou and Dongguan. Some have to go to the history of inspection in Wenzhou, which has solved the bottlenecks in the development of many years in shackled footwear enterprises, and made enterprises light up to carry out development.

In addition to saving manpower and time cost, more than 1000 shoe companies save money every year because of the cost of sending and inspecting the trip, which amounts to about 10000000 yuan.

At the same time, the AQSIQ has been supported by the AQSIQ, and has established the inspection and quarantine institution in Huang Bu. It has raised about 1000000 yuan to rent and carry out office and laboratory renovation, and has deployed 12 business backbone to improve its various functions. It provides one-stop full process services for inspection, inspection, supervision, laboratory testing, inspection and customs clearance for the export shoe enterprises nearby, and changes the history of Pingshan Town's inspection before changing to more than 100 kilometers.
