Maintain Order In Cotton Market And Ensure Cotton Growers' Cotton Planting Benefits

At the cotton situation analysis conference held in Hubei in August 28th, the Hubei Cotton Association issued a proposal to "cotton market order and cotton growers' cotton planting benefits" to the cotton processing enterprises in Shandong Province.

Cotton acquisition in 2008 is about to be carried out in an all-round way.

In order to effectively protect the interests of the vast majority of cotton farmers, standardize and maintain the "honest and trustworthy, fair trading" market order, the Hubei Cotton Association has issued the following initiatives to the cotton processing and purchasing enterprises in the whole province:

First, price based on quality and open acquisition.

The cotton seed sold by cotton growers will not be pressed down, not pressed down, not rejected, not restricted or collected, and will not be "ious" to cotton growers.

Two, strictly enforce the national cotton standard in the acquisition, and set the price in a fair, just, reasonable and accurate manner.

Three, efforts should be made to improve cotton quality.

We should strengthen the publicity of improving cotton quality and strive for the understanding and support of all sectors of society, especially cotton farmers, to improve the quality of cotton throughout the whole year's acquisition and processing work, and strive to create a cotton brand.

Encourage and help cotton farmers to wear cotton caps, use cotton bags and cotton bags in cotton picking, storing and selling process, do not use chemical fiber woven bags and strapping rope, and guide cotton growers to do "four points" and clean up "three silk".

Conditional acquisition and processing enterprises of cotton should establish a "three wire" cleaning platform.

Four, give full play to the role of cotton professional cooperatives, conscientiously and comprehensively fulfill cotton production orders, fulfill contractual commitments, and effectively protect the interests of cotton farmers.

Five, follow the market rules and be honest and trustworthy.

Enterprises should enhance their risk awareness, comply with market rules, reasonably determine purchase prices, do not malicious market speculation, do not drive up and suppress prices.

We should advocate standardized operation, honest management, law-abiding operation, standardize cotton trading behavior, and consciously maintain the order of cotton market.

We must resolutely put an end to adulteration, adulteration, mixing and other illegal operations in the processing and sale of cotton and disturb the market order.

It is not convenient for enterprises to purchase cotton processing without qualification, and make profits from them.

It is hoped that the cotton purchasing and processing enterprises in the whole province will actively respond to the above initiatives and take an active part in ensuring the smooth progress of cotton purchase in 2008, protecting cotton growers' enthusiasm for planting cotton, stabilizing cotton production, maintaining a fair, orderly and healthy market environment, and contributing to the sustainable development of cotton industry in our province.
